Former SEC Attorney Patrick Hunnius Joins DLA Piper

Patrick Hunnius has left the law firm of White & Case and joined DLA Piper as senior counsel in the firm's litigation practice in Los Angeles.
Hunnius previously worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission as an enforcement attorney and supervisor, DLA Piper said in a statement. He represents individuals and securities issuers in cases involving the SEC and the Justice Department.
Cases that Hunnius has litigated have involved restatements of SEC filings, alleged insider trading and market manipulation, DLA said.
Hunnius earned his law degree from the University of Texas.
